OC Median Sales Price sets record high - $1,182,500!
OC’s record median SFR sales price is at $1,182,500 in December, which is up 24.5% YOY, and up 2.8% compared to November 2021. Existing sales in OC during December are 18.7% lower than December 2020, and 1.8% lower than November 2021. “Despite signs of moderating in the second half of the year, California’s housing market continued to outperform last year’s level and remained competitive even as home prices rose at a double-digit pace — a testament to the imbalance of high demand and not enough homes on the market for sale,” said 2022 C.A.R. President Otto Catrina.
